Promises and Secrets
A website for those not afraid to examine their beliefs, compare them to the real world, and make sure they fit.
Though this page is for recommending other sites for information, I leave the page in the same format so that others can comment with their discoveries, whether favorable or unfavorable.
There are many sites on the Internet that provide information on their beliefs.
Let us know what you think.
We recommend the following sites as positive input for the retention of the truth when studying the Bible. We place them in the order in which they were added, with the oldest first, not in any order suggesting importance. However, I would like to say that the first one is the most representative of the views of the BLUE VIEWPOINT on this site. For some of the others, please note that we are not Jewish here at Promises and Secrets, but provide these resources as examples that the Word of God was written by Jews, for Jews and Gentiles, and that we should receive that Word as such.
Bruce Bertram and his team at Whole Bible are avid believers in the God and Christ of the Bible and what the Book really says and means. They believe that God provided us with the whole Bible, and it should be read as one Book - not two. You will find yourself examining your beliefs and their origins in the light of common sense and years of study of God's word.
Torah Class is a free online Bible Study website for Gentile and Jewish Believers in Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach. They offer it from a Hebraic Heritage perspective, and honor Israel as God's chosen people, and also honor both Testaments of the Bible as truth and infallible. They believe that the Bible is God's Word to humankind and so study it in depth, verse-by-verse, in the context of the Hebrew culture it was written. They add historical background, geography, original language understanding, and other multi-dimensional elements to provide a complete learning experience.
Torah Resource Mission: To provide Torah Communities with biblically based materials and leadership training. They take all the Scriptures (the 66 books of the Tanach & Apostolic Scriptures) to be the inspired word of God which is therefore endowed with divine authority. The site affirms without reservation that Yeshua is Immanuel, "God with us," and that being the promised Messiah, He is worthy of our worship as the eternal, uncreated Son of God. They consider the Torah to be the gift of God to all His children (Jew and non-Jew alike), being God's eternal and unchanging revelation and instructions in righteousness. They labor in producing materials and teaching classes (through TorahResource Institute) in order to help Torah Communities become established and well-founded in following the footsteps of Yeshua our Messiah.
