The Big Bang theory violates the principle of Conservation of Angular Momentum
The law of Conservation of Angular Momentum states essentially that if an object is spinning and part of it flies off from the centrifugal force, the departed object will be spinning in the same direction as the original object. One of the problems with the theory of the Big Bang is that some energy must be present to start the spinning in the first place. Even with some spinning going on, something must accelerate the spinning for it to build up the force to break up. If the all-matter-is-in-the-dot is all there is, what acted upon it?
Three planets rotate backwards: Venus, Uranus, and Pluto. How can any of the planets be spinning against the direction started by the Big Bang? Even if you could conceive of a way to make one planet spin the wrong way, how could several planets inside a single solar system and some of their moons spin backward?
In order to present both sides of the argument, Scientific American explains it this way at Scientific American:
"Current theory holds that Venus initially spun in the same direction as most other planets and, in a way, still does: it simply flipped its axis 180 degrees at some point. In other words, it spins in the same direction it always has, just upside down, so that looking at it from other planets makes the spin seem backward. Scientists have argued that the sun's gravitational pull on the planet's very dense atmosphere could have caused strong atmospheric tides. Such tides, combined with friction between Venus's mantle and core, could have caused the flip in the first place."
Well, that explains that. Silly me, thinking that I had to stay within the bounds of science to understand. One question. Why did it flip exactly 180 degrees instead of, oh say, 90, or 37, or 61?
If even one part of a theory contradicts "natural" laws, then a new theory is necessary. Why go out of the way to make up a new theory, with a whole set of new problems, rather than just listen to what we are told by the One who did it all?
